REMEMBERING Gen 40:23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him. In this scripture we find righteous Joseph who had used his God given gift of interpreting dreams and visions to have Pharaoh’s butler restored to his royal duties rather than being hanged. An agreement was made between Joseph and the butler that when he was restored from prison to the king’s service. The agreement was simple, after you’ve been pardoned and once again having the favor of the King “remember me”. It has been officially designated that the last Monday of May is the national day of REMBERANCE in America. Many will visit the gravesites of bygone relatives and friends to place flowers on their graves just to say “I remember.” There have been so many people that have contributed to our wellbeing. Even Jesus who did more than anyone for us requested to be remembered. 1 Cor 11:24-25 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. This holiday was originally held to honor the fallen soldiers who served and died defending our country. They all deserve to be remembered as we show our appreciation for their sacrifices. Let’s enjoy our families as we celebrate this occasion with thanksgiving. God bless you for not forgetting the ones who have helped us get to where we are today.
Mothers Are Priceless by Sis. Lois Adams First Lady of LTC Mothers day has been on the calendar for many years, but one day a year is not enough to sing the praises of Mom. Your mother is a very valuable person, you sure can't put a price tag on her.( Proverbs 31:10) Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. She gives of herself from sun up to sun down. She is always concerned for the needs of her family.(Proverbs 23:27 )She looketh well to the ways of her household, & eateth not the bread of idleness. Many are her duties,(she may not have a degree)but because of the love she holds in her heart, she is well able to accomplish the tasks that are set before her. Always putting her children's needs before her own. A very unselfish person.(Proverbs 31:28) Her children arise up , & call her blessed. ( her husband also,& he praiseth her) I don' t know what your plans are for Mother's Day but lets make it a special !!!!! Let her know you love her,& appreciate her!! The best gifts in life are not those with price tags, But those that are given in Love. You will always be thankful for the time you spent with your mother!!! ****To those of us , that our moms have passed from this life, let us never forget how blessed we were. I hold many precious memories in my heart, & teachings that I will never forget. Happy Mother's Day to each of you. I Love You!!!
We so regret to announce the passing of our beloved friend and brother.( Eddie Lilly) Thousands of souls were touched as this relentless servant of God knocked on their doors to tell them about the love and saving power of Jesus Christ. He was a prayer intercessor and a spiritual aid to us all. When he spoke Hell shook because of mountains that were moved. He loved his God, family & church. There is no doubt Bro. Lilly has heard from the lips of the Master " well done thou good and faithful servant enter now into your eternal home." To his dear wife and companion of 57 years & the entire family I say this is not the end just see you later. His viewing will be at Life Tabernacle Monday 4-8 PM and his celebration service will be Tue. 2:pm at LTC.
WHY SEEK THE LIVING AMONG THE DEAD? Luke 24:5-6 5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, These scriptures reflect the spiritual mentality in the world today, especially in America. Like 2000 yrs ago people are still seeking the living but are doing seeking among the dead. I am not referencing graveyards, crypts, or tombs I am speaking of the countless millions that are trying to find spiritual life but waste their time searching in dead denominations and lifeless churches where eternal life can't be found. They are lifeless because Jesus cannot be found in the prayers, songs, or even dried up sermons that are preached. I don't want to appear judgmental but rather just be honest enough to say the truth. If Christ is present then life is there and if he's absent then it's as dead as the tombs. On this Easter Sunday don't find yourself seeking God in assemblies that don't preach the truth with life and it more abundantly. Find a church that still baptizes in Jesus name and obeys Acts 2:38. Don't be fooled by traditions of hunting eggs and rabbits but from your heart seek Christ where he may be found. Life Tabernacle is a church that declares the New Testament truth and I encourage you to visit us and see for yourself that "Christ has risen".
Every Christian can't help but to wonder how our lives hereafter will take place. Will I go through the grave or be alive when God calls us home. Either way will be fine just so we are part of the great resurrection. However as Paul looked back at the grave and mocked its grip, he said "grave where is your victory". 1 Cor 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? Through the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost a Christian can say goodbye world goodbye and grave you have lost the battle. This year as we celebrate Easter let's look beyond the egg hunts, bunny rabbits, and family dinners and behold the beauty of God's resurrection performance. Say goodbye to the world and hello to heaven. Join us this year at LTC for our special Easter celebration as we rejoice in the Lord. I AM BLESSED I'm too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed. I refuse to be discouraged, to be sad or to cry. Yet, with the new year comes new opportunity to put the past behind us and forge ahead with new ideas and expectations. God is going to assist us into knowing a new approach as we submit ourselves to him and his plan. Not only does God have to work in us he also has to make us see a hurt and dying world. Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Let's put Christ back in front instead of the back burner in 2018. We can only imagine how different things will be with him in charge of our lives. So dedicate and consecrate our lives to fulfill God's divine purpose in this new year and God will also make us new creatures in Christ. 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We so deeply regret the passing of Sis. Rose Hall, the wife of Rev. Robert of Anniston, Ala. Bro. & Sis. Hall were very active in the ministry for over 40yrs. He served LTC staff prior to locating to a new work in Anniston. They pastored 3 churches in over 40yrs of ministry. Sis. Hall struggled for some time with extended illnesses. Having known the Hall's for 40 yrs. I can say she labored tirelessly along side her husband until God called her home to her eternal rest. Her battles are now over & her sickness is gone. We must maintain the faith to be united with her someday. God bless Bro. Hall, the girls, & a church that loved her. Let us remember what Apostle Paul said in the scriptures 1 Cor 5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, Pray for our friends in their time of loss.

I want to invite you to our Veterans Day service on Nov.12th. Help us pay tribute and honor to those who have served and presently serve in our military forces to maintain the freedoms that we all enjoy. Please pray with us in this critical hour as war is the main conversation. It is shameful that so many of our citizens show disrespect to the nation that gives them these freedoms they choose to abuse. My personal resolve is simply this "America love it or leave it". God bless our patriots and our great nation.

Another great service at LTC tonight. Elder Bobby Carlton taught on "This same Jesus". The book of Acts came to life through the anointed word of God. Many churches today have stopped having a midweek service where the bible is taught in depth. Many are catering to the desires of carnal saints that don't want to attend church anyhow. Jer. 6:16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. If we believe we are living in the last days then we are suppose to attend church more often not less. Heb.10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. As David said thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you. The word is still vital as we prepare to meet this same Jesus in the air. Don't miss it!
